Comments

Run by the City of Sudbury. The Capreol Ski Hill features downhill skiing and snowboarding. Rope tow and concession services are open Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4:30 and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-9 pm.
Take Highway 69 North through Valley East, then Regional Road 84 to Capreol, turn left on Kelly Street, and then turn left on Lakeshore Street.

Timmins gets the first snow and has longer-lasting snow. Downhill skiing, snowboarding, tubing, clinics and lessons. Terrain Park has table tops, 1/4 pipe, wave wall, spines and much more, Also has 6 km of cross-country ski trails.

Municipal ski hill in operation since the 1920s with upper & lower lodges, with five runs, a bunny hill, and terrain park. Re-opened in 1996 with a new chair lift and modern snowmaking equipment. These hills were the starting points for Olympic skier Kate Pace.

Skiing, snowboarding & snowtubing with night skiing & snowmaking. 1 Quad Lift and 2 Double Lifts ensure there are rarely any lift lines. 2 large quarter pipes on the upper Maple with a 15 foot table top jump at the bottom.
Hwy 61 South past Thunder Bay Airport for 10 minutes to Loch Lomond Road (Corner of Nor'Wester Hotel and the Neebing Roadhouse). Make a left for 3 kilometres to the ski mountain.

1 Quad Lift and 2 Double Lifts ensure there are rarely any lift lines. We have 2 large quarter pipes on the upper Maple with a 15 foot table top jump at the bottom. Continuing down this run is a 300 foot spine down the middle of the second hill of the Maple Run. Night lighting is available on the first hill of the Maple. Great snowmaking gets the season off to an early start.
