division point for the main trans-continental line of the Canadian National Railway.
Today, the town is about 65 km north of the Transportation-Canada Highway and the area's main activities include hunting, fishing, and golf.
The town offers fly-in services and has a museum. A reconstructed CNR locomotive is located in Centennial Park. 807.737.2991
